I finally decided to start a blog after meaning to do so for a long time. I actually signed up for blogspot a while ago and never used it, and I used to have a photography tumblr as well. Here's an compilation of some photos from my first few months in New York City, which I spent exploring the city, hanging out with friends, eating lots of dessert, going to Broadway shows and concerts and TV tapings, and taking pictures as I went.
A few days after moving in, my roommate, suitemates, and I walked down our street, all the way until we made it to the High Line. I had wanted to go here for a long time, but unfortunately it was extremely hot and humid, so we didn't stay for too long and didn't walk too far.
At the end of my school's welcome week for freshmen, there was a midnight cruise around the city. Meena and I went, enjoying the gorgeous view of our new home.
My roommate, suitemates, and I went on a late night walk around the village on September 11.
Shae and I spent a day in Central Park before heading to Brooklyn for a light festival and the park along the river for the views of the bridges and skyline.
Meena and I went midtown one day to go to the Drama Book Shop and ended up going to Bryant Park, for Wafels and Dinges, and Grand Central as well.
I also had a photoshoot with my roommate, primarily to take some headshots for her.
